Our opportunity includes a combination of business development with corporate hiring managers and building relationships with the top 10% of finance and accounting candidates in our market. On a daily basis, this involves:

New Business Development: coupling outbound prospecting calls and in person meetings with finance and accounting executives, this is the number one and most crucial portion of this position. The goal is to identify project and interim staffing needs within corporate Finance and Accounting departments and providing managers with the proper candidate and/or solution to resolve the need.

Recruiting: meeting 3 to 4 new candidates per week, establishing relationships with them, and evaluating their backgrounds.

Being successful in this role will require an individual to be consultative in their sales approach, keeping abreast of trends in the industry, having a well conceived daily plan and to be organized in their approach to the market. 


 


Requirements The skills and experience necessary for this role include: 

Minimum of 2+ years of outside sales experience in a metrics oriented sales organization.
Strong written and verbal communications skills, particularly listening skills are a must.
Experience creating and implementing marketing plans in a sales role.
Accounting and Finance technical knowledge and/or working experience in this field would be preferred along with a degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
