Description Position provides support for Electric Energy Management/Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (EMS/SCADA) systems. Work with specific applications within the environment, which include Automatic Generation Control (AGC), Network Applications (NA), Interchange Transaction Scheduling (ITS), Energy Accounting (EA), etc. Provides support to Programmer's I and II. This position will be a 12 month contract to hire position.

Requirements Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering, or a similar discipline. 5 to 10 years supporting Electric Energy Management/Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems is required. Equivalent experience developing in/or supporting an Electric EMS/SCADA environment will be considered in lieu of education.

Technical skill with regard to the following technologies: Siemens Spectrum, Pascal, Unix, C/C++, Java and Oracle also beneficial.

Must demonstrate a desire to work in the utility industry with an emphasis on supporting control and ancilliary system affiliated with generation, transmission, and energy. Must be available to be on-call during nights and weekends.
