Financial Reporting Manager, Hedge Fund Industry

Fairfield County, CT

Salary to $90K plus bonus plus strong employee benefits

Our client is a hedge fund who is now looking for an experienced Accounting professional with experience within the hedge fund industry.

Duties Include:

Supervision of a smaller department of professionals
Production of financial reporting for the fund
Liaison with external auditors for annual audits
Oversee the general ledger, all adjustments, disbursements, P&L reporting and all SEC related financial reporting
Special project work including implementing/streamlining policies and procedures

Requirements

Candidate Should Possess:

Probably 5 years+ experience within financial services with a strong preference for hedge fund experience
CPA and/or MBA very helpful
Previous supervision skills preferred
Ability to adapt to a fast paced and sometimes hectic trading floor environment.
