Description:

We have an immediate part-time need for a Clinical Manager Assistant - Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse) for our Ashland, Kentucky Amedisys Home Health agency. You must have at least one year of home health experience to be considered for this position.

 

Duties:

The Clinical Manager Assistant will assist in coordination, and provision of quality home nursing care while demonstrating fiscal responsibility and maintaining the highest standards of care and ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. They will coordinate communication of information relevant to the patient care process. May schedule patient care staff, receive referrals and physician orders and perform patient visits and all appropriate documentation to the management and provision of patient care.

Job Requirements 

Requirements:

1. Current and unencumbered state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
2. Two years (minimum) of clinical experience as a nurse, with at least one year in home healthcare
3. Strong computer and software skills
4. Demonstrated knowledge of the appropriate skills for communicating with individuals of all ages

5. Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication skills
6. Current CPR certification, preferred
7. Demonstrates knowledge of Federal/State rules and regulations, JCAHO standards and other regulatory requirements
8. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and required liability insurance
