Heraeus Metal Processing, LLC is currently searching to fill the position of a National Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding the profitable sale of a broad range of small engine catalyst products for the company through customers within the assigned territory. Secures new and existing customer orders and effectively communicates implements and executes all applicable company programs to the customers. Responsible for recruiting new costumers based on market potential. This successful incumbent will have the luxury to work from your home office when business travel is not required.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Present sales expenses and marketing programs to secure new and existing orders from customers and develop business partnerships with new and existing customers
  • Maintain a level of service, communication and motivation of customers through regular and consistent call cycles as well as personal visits
  • Recruit customers based on market potential and company strategy and objectives
  • Interface with company support personnel as necessary for consistent, open communication, customer support, implementation of company programs and achievement of territory and company goals and objectives
  • Consistently work to meet territory goals and objectives based on a business plan
  • Review and analyze sales and marketing statistics to data in an effort to promote sales; analyize data to determine customer needs; volume potential and opportunities for growth; provides forecasting
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

Skills, Experience and Education Required:

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse groups of people

  • Ability to analyze sales trends to identify alternatives that will maximize sales opportunities

  • Computer proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in sales and marketing within the Small Engine Catalyst Business

  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Traveling will be required for 40%-45% through the Mid-West area
