The Academy of Health Care Professions is dedicated to providing quality training to individuals interested in the allied health care fields. Knowledge and proficiency are attained through demonstration, actual operation of equipment and practice of learned techniques. It is our aim to provide students with the knowledge and technical proficiency that will make them employable for entry-level positions in the allied health care field.
The history of The Academy of Health Care Professions extends to 1953, when physicians founded MacGregor Medical Association. In 1988, the Association identified a need to provide quality medical training to employees, enabling their skills to be utilized by the Association’s expanding physicians’ practices. The Academy of Health Care Professions was founded to provide the health care training needed. We have continued to grow and expand in order to meet the growing needs for qualified health care professionals. Our four campuses are located in Austin, Houston Southwest, Houston Northwest and San Antonio. We are seeking an Admissions Representative to join our team!
Admissions Representative
Responsibilities:
The Admissions Representative provides opportunities to prospective students to complete degree and certificate programs. Duties include recruiting new students to achieve budgeted enrollment goals for each term and conversion goals for each stage of the recruitment process by turning individual inquiries into enrollments and guiding your enrollees up to graduation. Our Admissions Representatives also facilitate the student recruitment process through intensive interviewing that includes the following:

Manage prospective student inquiries through heavy phone sales

Set up school tours and interviews with potential candidates

Create interest in the school through great presentations

Generate leads through student referrals
-
Achieve and exceed enrollment and sales goals
Requirements
The best candidate will be self-motivated and possess excellent presentation and communication skills (both telephone and person-to-person). Great listening and strong relationship-building skills are vital. Basic computer skills, professional attitude and dependability are required. Previous sales experience preferred, but not required. College degree preferred, but not required.
