SYSTEMS DEVELOPER II

(Hartford)

 

The Connecticut Judicial Branch is seeking a qualified individual to perform systems analysis and design duties for the development, implementation and maintenance for simple to moderate applications within a mainframe, mini or microcomputer environment.  Duties include: Knowledge of principles, problems and techniques of computer programming, application development methodology and tools; state of the art computer programming methods, languages, techniques and tools; computer operating systems, principles and techniques of systems analysis, design and development; project management tools; PC hardware and software skills; oral, written communication and interpersonal skills; technical problem solving and analytical skills; considerable ability to write, test and debug computer programs; identify, analyze, resolve business and technical problems; demonstrated proficiency in current technology and ability to learn and utilize new/future technology.   Stating salary: $61,490 – plus benefits.  Applications must be received by November 23, 2009.  Applications should be submitted through the online application site at: www.jud.ct.gov under the quick link for Job Openings.  On-line applications are preferred; however, you may mail your resume to:

Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Six years of experience in the preparation of computer programs.  College training in Management Information Systems or a related field may be substituted to a maximum of four years for a Bachelor’s degree.
