Position Summary
Exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys new development! The Principal Software Engineer will guide and direct the software R&D efforts associated with design, Testing, Production and release of Windows Desktop Software Applications related to medical Devices. This role focuses on new development within a great team of engineers. A competitive salary structure, bonus and stock option package is provided. This position requires very limited travel. Great team oriented enviornment.
Responsibilities:
· Direct the development of WinForms software using C# in Windows Desktop.
· Lead the process of software development including needs analysis, architecture and design, implementation, verification and validation.
· Ensure that designs exceed Regulatory standards.
· Be the lead team member for technical aspects of product development.
Requirements
Education/Experience: Candidates who do not meet ALL of the requirements will unfortunately not be considered for this position.
· Multithreaded programming experience REQUIRED
· Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.net, version control and defect tracking systems. REQUIRED
· 5+ years of experience in C# programming. Alternative would be one year of C# programming experience with extensive C++ experience. REQUIRED
· Experience with Windows Based (not web based) programming software. REQUIRED
· Strong understanding of object oriented design in software systems. REQUIRED
· Hands on self-starter with excellent communication skills.
