Research Scientist: Human performance assessment

Intelligent Automation, Inc.,
a Research and Development organization headquartered in Rockville, Maryland, conducts state of the art research and product development in the fast evolving areas of Distributed Intelligent Systems, Robotics, Networks, Signal Processing, Sensors, Communications, Educational Technology and Training, and Control. We are looking for a highly self-motivated, experienced scientist with strong expertise in design and implementation of novel signal processing algorithms and software tools for human performance assessment.


Job duties include:

  • Developing and implementing novel signal processing/classification/regression algorithms applied to biological signals for fatigue, operator state, and/or human performance assessment
  • Performing simulation analysis and performance evaluation
  • Interacting with other engineering teams and supporting with the signal processing/data mining expertise.
 


Job Requirements 


Research Scientist: Human performance assessment


Job requirements include:

  • MS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering/Computer engineering
  • Experience working with medical signals
  • Strong foundation in signal processing/data mining
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in algorithm development
  • Knowledge of MATLAB and C++ is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a multi-disciplinary group environment
  • US citizenship or US permanent residency is preferred. IAI is an EEO/AA employer.
