Description The North Texas Tollway Authority is looking for a Bilingual Recruiter (Temporary) to join the team!

The purpose of this position is to source, screen and interview applicants for all positions in the agency.  This is accomplished by developing hiring targets and goals, conducting candidate sourcing, pre-employment testing, reviewing and processing applications, creating advertising, conducting and coordinating interviews, preparing employment offers, and ensuring the application of all policies and procedures.  Other duties include conducting new hire orientation, developing new recruiting sources, representing the agency at recruiting functions, provide administrative support, and completing related projects.  Specific duties for this position include:

  • Sources, collects and reviews applications and resumes by posting positions, developing ads, attending job fairs, receiving and reviewing submitted information, and reviewing requests for transfers.  
  • Screens and interviews applicants by reviewing applications for minimum qualifications, conducting phone interviews, submitting recommendations to hiring departments, coordinating interviews, and participating on interview panels as requested.
  • Completes administrative tasks by collecting and processing applications, entering information, preparing and submitting job postings, coordinating interviews, coordinating pre-employment processes, processing promotions and transfers, collecting and filing required forms, updating requisitions, and administering special programs.
  • Offers employment to applicants by preparing salary information, completing all pre-employment testing, preparing and making offers, notifying appropriate parties, and complying with all agency policies and procedures.
  • Provides resource information to departments and employees by interpreting and explaining agency policies and procedures, state and federal regulations, and human resources benefits, assisting in the resolution of human resources matters, and following up on resolved issues, developing hiring goals and targets, and notifying departments of changes to recruiting processes.
  • Requirements

    Requirements for this position include: Minimum HS diploma with 1-3yrs previous experience in a Recruiting and/or Human Resources role; Knowledge of full life cycle recruiting process; Strong computer/technical skills with some exposure to Human Resource Information Systems/Applicant Tracking Systems; Excellent interpersonal/communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal/external customers; Familiarity with employment law; Detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure; Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and/or collaboratively in a team environment;  Call center recruitment experience is a plus.  Valid TX Driver License; Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. ***Temporary Assignment***
