2 Positions: Supervisor, Specimen Processor
Hours: First and Second Shifts available: FT, Mon-Fri., 1st shift, may require occasional off shift, weekend or holiday

Salary Range: $25.50 - $30 per hour + Night Differential (12%)
Location: Newington, CT
Schedule: FT, 40 hours, Mon-Fri, 4pm-12:30am, rotating weekends
Job Description:
- Supervises the day to day operations of the Newington Specimen Processing Dept. Schedules and assigns work, resolves problems and monitors progress.
- Uses resources effectively and efficiently to achieve the goals and objectives of the unit within established budgets. Implements/monitors departmental goals and objectives that align with the strategic direction of the organization.
- Establishes and monitors individuals performance expectations. Continually strives to improve quality and productivity by identifying improvement opportunities and recommending and implementing changes.
- Excellent customer service expectations.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalency, 3-5 years supervisory experience required. BS and/or appropriate certification (MT/MLT ASCP) preferred. Previous experience in laboratory operation preferred. Must read, write and speak the English language.
