Description SUMMARY
Assist Insulators in the application of insulation materials for industrial and commercial applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Apply insulation material on various applications with hand tools such as a saw, snips, crimper and bander.

  • Removal of old insulation material.
  • Prepare insulation blankets for installation on various applications.
  • Responsible for general housekeeping duties at job site including repairing tools, maintaining job trailer including organizing uniforms and safety supplies.
Requirements To performer this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and common fractions. Ability to computer rate, ratio, and percent.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few disabilities to perform the essential function.
