SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER - FEDERAL, DEFENSE, MILITARY PROGRAMS

Sr. Program Manager at a global defense contractor  will work on proposal development, program design, risk assessment, buy vs make decisions, verification of performance and acceptance.  Managing each program requires adherence to budget, meeting all major milestones and customer satisfaction.  Projects range from $5M on up to multi-multi millions of dollars.

• Must have 4 year undergraduate degree in technical field, electronics, mechanical engineering, systems engineering or a related field.  MBA/MS would be preferred, although not required base on experience. Must be experienced as PROGRAM MANAGER.
• Proven ability to motivate and manage a team
• 10+ years business experience and four to five years in specific program / project management.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.      
• Proven ability to interface with customers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, etc.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills and experience
• Will work cross-functionally with Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Engineering,  Logistics, etc.
• Excel, Powerpoint, MS Office
