Job Description 

Manager Traffic Engineering

 

This position is responsible for providing expertise in managing traffic engineering studies, traffic signal and ITS design, and transportation planning efforts.  

 

The successful candidate will contribute to business development and marketing, work on proposals, maintain client relationships, project control, quality assurance, and direct a team of professional engineers.

Job Requirements 

 

 

  • BS or MS in Civil Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience preferred
  • Familiarity with TxMUTCD, TxDot Design Manuals and AASHTO Green Book
  • Experience using various software packages including HCS, PASSER, Synchro, and others
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to train and mentor staff
