Customer Service Technician

BASIC FUNCTION: Provide technical support and assistance to customers.

 

 

RESULTS ANTICIPATED: Achieve department and company goals by supporting and maintaining customer’s equipment.  Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • Two year of college in Electronics/Electricity, with 3 – 4 years of experience in Automation and Servo controls.
  • Must have an understanding of Servo motors and feedback devices.
  • Must have good computer skills.
  • Willing to travel on short notice and be abroad for substantial lengths of time.
  • Must be self managing and independent.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills. 
Requirements
  • Provide Quality Control on newly manufactured equipment.
  • Configure, tune and set-up newly manufactured equipment.
  • Install, test, and provide customer training on new equipment.
  • Provide timely customer technical equipment support via telephone, email, or onsite visits.
  • Assist customers in process development.
  • Assist in-house manufacturing as required.
  • Identify and recommend solutions for customer’s issues and concerns.
