Major established company that is involved with innovative leading edge technology has an opportunity for an Applications Software Engineer in reasonable cost of living southwest OH. The selected individual will be involved with applications that will range from user interface creation and device driver development for communications and networked systems. The organization has the ability to attract very talented individuals that are looking for long term growth opportunities.
Requirements
- must have an active Top Secret Clearance
- need at least 3 years of related software development experience
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related
- must have a military / government / DoD background
- need technical understanding in a wide variety of software development to include C, C++ and Assembler
- requires also a solid knowledge of Microsoft and/or Linux operating systems
- need a detailed knowledge of various network protocols, algorithm development, multi-thread applications and graphical user interfaces
- prefer experience with military communications, sensors and radios
