Production Supervisor Wanted
Butts County company is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to assist the Business Unit Leader in the overall management of the organization's operations to include: quality, safety/facility security, production, personnel, budgeting, maintenance, material inventory and product availability and rotation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Assists in managing all facets of the Value Added Production shift to produce the highest quality product possible.
- Responsible for managing and training all of the associates within the value added production shift.
- Works closely with the Human Resources Department on personnel, payroll and safety issues including employee training.
- Responsible for complying with government, organizational and industry standards.
- Responsible for meeting the specifications and standards set by the Quality Assurance operations to minimize consumer complaints.
- Responsible for routinely conducting hazard analysis, and for compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards to meet applicable annual plant certifications (e.g., MSDS training, lock out/tag out, fire drills, holding regular tailgate meetings, submitting timely accident reports and working on accident prevention).
