The selected candidate will join the Solar Expansion Project teams at HSC. The position is in support of the definition, design, and application of the ABB 800xA process control systems for chemical process and material handling applications. The position will be actively involved with Process Design teams for the definition of the Cause & Effect Tables, (CET), Alarm Logic, (MAD), and Functional Requirements Specifications, (FRS). Applications will likely utilize State Based Control structures and may evolve into S-88 Batch control applications. The position will interface with HSC project, operations, and site support teams while working along side ABB personnel on site. The role will extend from project definition through project start-up support. The present position is aligned with the expansions at the Hemlock Semiconductor site but is envisioned to move into on-going site support or support for the expansions at Clarksville, Tennessee. Shift coverage for start-up support may be required.

Position Requirements:

Minimum BS in Electrical or Chemical Engineering and experience of facilitating technical teams Knowledge of chemical process measurement instrumentation, control valves, and motor control. Experience with working on schedule/cost driven capital projects. Experience in support manufacturing operations and start-up. A knowledge of S-88 based Batch Control applications is desired.
