Description Industry leading Manufacturing company in Oceanside, CA seeks dynamic Engineering Manager!  IMPT - Must be able to work hands-on, not just sit behind a desk telling others what to do!  Must be able to work with manufacturing team on the mechanical level and electrical level.

  • Will be managing the engineering team and coordinating all engineering activities including mechanical, electrical and software design and development; all technical specifications and requirements. 
  • Mew product development and engineering maintanence/enhancements of existing products.
  • Plan and establish engineering guidelines, targets and schedules to meet company objectives. 
  • Project management for system orders
  • Continuous improvements/cost reduction of existing product
  • Directly supervise engineering staff; employee development; personnel evaluations
  • Maintain and implement relevant and practical engineering standards, processes and policies
  • Support all departments and confer with company personnel to ensure company policies and followed and company objectives are met
Requirements
  • Uncompromising attitude toward safety, customer service and quality
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years professional experience required
  • Experience leading technical personnel in a design/manufacturing environment
  • Solid knowledge of basic engineering principles, procedures, and practices
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including ability to communicate with various levels
  • Project Management experience required
