We are currently looking for a Quality Control Associate 


Job Description:

  • Audit QC reports from 3rd party underwriter - Assist in quality control review process
  • Manage quality control projects
  • The Quality Control (QC) program is designed to ensure that the quality of loan deliveries is maintained. 
  • The QC Associate will be responsible for supporting the Quality Control functions of the Secondary Market program. 
  • Specifically, the associate will initiate new quality control reviews, monitor deliveries of home loans from lender partners for both credit and collateral completeness, as well as forward loans to appropriate parties. 
  • Associate will assist with individual file reviews and import audit reports from third party providers. 
  • Associate will insure all work flow benchmarks are met and provide follow-up as applicable.
  • Utilize QC application to identify loans for QC reviews - Manage ordering and distribution of loan files from lenders, contract underwriters, and Fannie Mae

 

Requirements
  • Mortgage processing experience

  • Self-starter, able to initiate and juggle multiple projects and work independently

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work well as part of a team and with a diverse group of people - MS Excel proficiency

  • Knowledge of the current mortgage market

  • Quality Control or underwriting experience desired

  • Familiarity with CRA or affordable home lending desired

  • appraisal review experience desired

  • Fannie Mae policy and guide knowledge desired

 

Physical Requirements:

 

Frequently requires use of manual dexterity and repetitive motions, primarily with the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.  Must be able to occasionally lift and exert force of up to 10 pounds.
