Job Description



OUR PREFERRED CLIENT IS SEEKING A CONTRACT SPEECH PATHOLOGIST (SLP) FOR A YEAR BASED PART TIME POSITION.


Scope of Work
:

The Center anticipates approximately 156 hours per year of Speech Therapist Services will be needed to provide the following services:

  • Provide a written evaluation for each new admission within thirty days of arrival; and once every three years thereafter; or more often if deemed necessary by the Center;

  • Provide a written plan of treatment for individuals requiring speech therapy services;

  • Provide Center staff written speech therapy goals and objectives for individuals served;

  •  Provide in-service training to Center staff, as needed, for proper implementation of Speech Therapy Programs (Center shall determine subjects and need of training);

  • All services to be provided at Center; and Other standard forms and agreements other than specified in the mandatory requirements will be addressed upon award.



Job Requirements

 

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Possess a license issued by the Maryland State Board of Examiners for Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers, and Speech-Language Pathologists. This license must be valid at the time of bid submission and maintained for the full duration of the contract and option period.
  • One year of experience working with the intellectually disabled and dully diagnosed.
