NHS Human Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a full range of behavioral health services. For over 30 years, we have been developing and providing services throughout Pennsylvania, as well as in Ohio, New Jersey, and Virginia. NHS Human Services of Chester County is seeking Direct Support Professionals for our Home Based Waiver program. This is an opportunity to work with an individual in their own home setting. Responsibilities to the individual being served includes: provide an enjoyable learning experience in a family setting, assist with skills in the areas of hygiene, guidance, supervision, and training necessary to foster growth and development. Also assist individuals with general and specific household and individual routine/programming while serving as a role model for the individual. The position requires compliance and enforcement of all established agency policies and procedures and those delineated by the State and County regulations. REQUIREMENTS *HS diploma/GED *Valid Driver's license with a good driving record history. *Must attend required pre-service training and 24 hours of annual training thereafter.
