Description Holtec International is seeking a Marketing Assistant / Coordinator for its corporate marketing group.  This individual will perform administrative and office support activities for the sales and marketing department.  This individual will report to the Sales and Marketing Manager.

 

The candidate should have experience with and shall perform the following duties:

  • Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction
  • Serve as a liaison between traveling sales representatives and staff based in the home office
  • Coordinate and assist with the marketing activities which include advertising, direct mailing, printing, customer events, and trade shows
  • Assisting with trade show and event planning
  • Create or update presentation software files
  • Track budgets and expenses for advertising, trade shows, and company “give away" items
  • Communicate with external creative service providers
  • Process expense reports
  • Coordinate the submission of proposals
  • Make travel and meeting arrangements
  • Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing
  • Setup accommodation and entertainment arrangements for company visitors
  • Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system.
  • Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office
  • Systematically arranging letters, memoranda, other indexed documents according to an established system
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related major plus 5 years relevant experience in an Engineering firm or similar technical environment.  A candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and the relevant experience would also be considered.

 

Strong computer and organization skills are required.  The individual must have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. Knowing some basic graphic design software such as Publisher, Quark or Photoshop is a plus, but not required. This position does not require graphic design skills.

Strong internet research skills are required. Also calls for flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.  The individual must posses the ability to work on multiple projects at one time, to work under pressure and to deadlines, and good attention to detail and accuracy.  The candidate must possess strong self motivation and the ability to be a team player.
