Description Growing $40 million Manufacturing / Distribution Company in New Castle, Delaware requires a computer savvy purchasing manager. Responsibilities will include all purchasing for two distribution warehouses and manufacturing facility, as well as working closely with the planning group. Other activities will include negotiating with vendors, assisting in scheduling, maintaining minimum inventory supply levels and involvement with production reporting. This individual will work very closely with the accounting function, prepare purchase orders and interface with manufacturing on material receipts and invoice approvals. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Requirements Candidate must have five years purchasing experience, be an expert in Excel, with Excel testing a prerequisite for this position and have a good grasp of the business process. Applications must be accompanied with current title and compensation level to be considered.
