Job Posting-Front Desk Receptionist

Pain Management Specialist of Southeast Michigan is a privately owned Pain Service.   We are looking for an energetic, detail oriented professional to work Full time at our Corporate Office. 

As Front Desk Receptionist your duties will include but not limited to:

·         Provide customer friendly reception and telephone services for all agency, patients, and services.

  • Accept verbal and written referrals for patients; Register patients and schedule appointments.  Schedule procedure &/or consultation for patients.
  • Send out initial appointment data and intake information to new patients. Confirm new and follow-up appointment.

·         Process insurance information via internet or phone inquiry to verify eligibility of coverage and/or obtain pre-authorization for procedures.

  • Prepare new patient charts and update established patient charts for pick-up by courier to be taken to Off-site physician’s office.
  • Enter scheduled patients into transcription service’s system and print schedules for distribution.  Distribute schedules to billing company, Off-site physician’s office and transcription service for scheduled appointments.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Base Pay & Benefits

Note: Pay is based on experience. Full medical and dental coverage along with retirement plan contributions, and paid holidays are offered to full time employees.

Requirements

Qualifications

High School diploma and prior receptionist experience required; must have excellent communication and organization skills; typing and computer skills required; working knowledge of Microsoft word, excel and internet, knowledge of medical terminology helpful.

The individual must be able to pass a drug screen.
