General Manager

Description We are looking for honest, hard working people who are interested in a foodservice career with an emphasis in great guest service. Our local fast food franchise is a family-owned and operated. We have 19 Carl’s Jr. Restaurants in 13 cities and 5 counties in and near the Bay Area. We are currently looking for General Manager candidates for our stores in Livermore, and surrounding areas.

The General Manager of each restaurant is responsible for:
• Hiring and Training of Crew and Store Management
• Supervising a staff of 20-30 employees
• Operate state of the art POS system for all restaurant functions
• Profit and Loss of each restaurant, with an emphasis on the food, labor, paper and supply costs for the restaurant
• Quality Assurance and food safety
• Maintaining a productive and pleasant work environment
• Ensure that our restaurant is serving great Carl’s Jr. food in a clean, inviting atmosphere

Requirements Job Requirements
• Positive Attitude and ability to work with people – must be a “people person”
• Minimum of 2 years experience in food service supervision, previous experience as a general manager, a plus
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma
• Able to understand mathematic concepts relating to our industry
• Reliable Transportation, Valid Drivers License and Proof of Insurance
