Terminal Manager

We are seeking a Terminal Manager for our facilitiy in Tulsa, OK.   The Terminal Manager is responsible for implementing key operations initiatives, customer service, compliance, personnel, and manage IC contracts for the terminal.  Our ideal candidate must have previous management experience in a transportation or logistics environment with a strong georgraphical area knowledge of the Tulsa areas and surrounding towns.  The TM will oversee an operation with 8+ employees and 50+ independent contractor drivers.

Education, Experience, and Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree is required and/or equivalent experience
• 5-10 years management, customer service and/or dispatching experience, preferably in courier or transportation field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Problem Solving skills
• At least intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Internet, & routing software
• Interpersonal skills; ability to foster teamwork and motivate/coach others
• Knowledge of local and regional geographical area
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service
• Knowledge of business and management principles
• Accurately and quickly read maps
• Perform well and make optimum decisions under pressure and time constraints
• Handle occasional light and heavy lifting
