Description Stone Academy in Waterbury is seeking a professional to fill our Medical Assisting Program Supervisor position.

Ideal candidate must be extremely motivated, committed, personable, dependable, and willing to travel locally. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the program supervisor will have managerial and administrative responsibilites within the department.

Full-time, 40 hours per week, 4 weeks paid vacation, health insurance benefit plan, dental, savings and retirement plan, flexible benefit plan, tuition remission plan.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Requirements
Ideal candidate must have:

-A minumim of an Associate Degree;
-A minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in a health care facility, including a minimum of 40 hours in an ambulatory health care setting;
-classroom teaching experience;
-Preferred but not necessary: A current medical assistant registration or certification through a nationally recognized and accredited certifying agency.
