St. Joseph's Hospital is a not-for-profit JCAHO accredited community general hospital located in Elmira, NY. Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Rochester in cooperation with the physicians and citizens of Elmira, NY, St. Joseph’s has been serving the needs of the community since 1908. As a result of our continued commitment to providing exceptional care, we are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for our Skilled Nursing Unit.
The LPN renders direct nursing care and supervises nursing activities for an eight
hour shift residents age 16 and over who require Skilled Long Term and
Short Term Care, including the chronically ill, geriatric and infirmed resident.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse – Charge Nurse, SNF, you are delegated
the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
