Description Ripon Medical Center is currently in need of an Education Coordinator/Research Assistant. This is a part time (20 hours/week) position, with full benefits. Responsibilities include: Assists in the development of policies and procedures and/or standards of nursing care; evaluates effectiveness of delivery and content of training/education/learning methodology; performs duties in compliance with regulatory requirements; coordinates, plans, designs, implements and evaluates formal and informal educational activities and programs for staff; coordinates ACLS program for employees and physicians; develops and revises nursing educational tools and competencies; collaborates with local/regional Technical Colleges for training and recertification programs.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Education required, Master's degree preferred. Current RN license with 5 or more years of acute care nursing experience. Prior experience as a Nurse Educator or Teacher/Instructor preferred. Must have excellent computer and communication skills; a solid understanding of research. Experience with implementation of evidence based practices preferred.
