Reverse mortgage company is in need of a Loan Closer to help out the closing department.

REPORTS TO: Closing Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for generating closing packages for wholesale brokered loans.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Review cleared to close files and confirm final numbers and closing conditions are accurate.
• Prepare closing packages and deliver to closing agents in a timely manner.
• Communicate with brokers and closing agents to ensure timely closings and return of closed loan documents.
• Work with Customer Account Managers regarding rush closings and broker concerns.
• Provide excellent internal and external customer service
• Any other duties as assigned by manager
• Prepare and submit production reports to management.

• 3+ years experience in mortgage operations (processing, underwriting, closing, funding).
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Exemplary organizational skills
• Displays a sense of urgency
• Must have outstanding customer servicing skills
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Previous reverse mortgage experience desired
