Job Summary:

M/I Financial Corporation (MIFC), a subsidiary of M/I Homes, Inc., one of the nation’s leading builders of single-family homes is seeking an Operations Manager to join the MIFC Team in Sterling, Virginia.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage, supervise, and develop a team of loan specialists.  Accountable for front end branch loan administration and management processes to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Monitor/measure workload, quality of output and overall performance of loan processing staff; make recommendations as required.
• Exercise sign-off authority of underwriting loan conditions.
• Review and approve closing packages.
• Problem resolution.
• Respond to QC audit reports.
• Team and individual training/development.
• Perform all duties of the branch manager in the manager’s absence.
• Other duties as required.

Minimum Education Experience: 

·         5 to 7 years of related mortgage experience.

·         Virginia, Maryland Loan Officer licenses (Must be obtained within 6 months of hire, if not currently licensed).

Skills and Abilities: 

·         Extensive knowledge of mortgage policies and procedures; Well versed in FHA/VA/Conventional Lending.

·         Strong technical skills.

·         Excellent communication and organizational skills. 

·         Proven leadership abilities.
