Interline Brands, Inc., a leading distributor of Maintenance,Repair and Operations (MRO) products to the multi-family housing and professional contractor industries, seeks experienced Outside Sales Representative for its Wilmar Brand to call on customers in an established territory covering the Arkansas territory (cities include but not limited to Conway, Fayetteville, Little Rock, North Little Rock, Springdale and Rodgers).
This Outside Sales Representative position reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager. Established territory, stable market, repeat business and unlimited earnings potential. Will be responsible for outside sales of MRO supplies to the multi-family housing market.
Responsibilities of Outside Sales Representative:
- Will meet or exceed sales quotas by growing account base.
- Responsible for the direct marketing of plumbing products by initiating outside sales calls to business prospects and existing customer accounts.
- Will seek and grow opportunities to increase business and account base by qualifying and opening new business accounts utilizing sales techniques to cross sell, up-sell and provide professional customer service.
- Will maintain and develop good customer relationships, rapport and satisfaction and learn and apply new product knowledge to enhance sales and personal professionalism.
- Will gather competitive information and other market trends on a weekly basis, interact with other departments (marketing, purchasing, credit) and national distribution centers to resolve customer service issues.
Qualifications/Experience:
Must have PC with Internet access, cell phone, fax, car and valid driver’s license, clean motor vehicle record and reliable car.
Minimum of 2 years outside sales experience, preferably with plumbing, electrical, HVAC supplies.
Excellent prospecting/sales techniques.
Service-oriented personality with strong customer service skills.
Ability to establish customer rapport, build business relationships and close sales.
Excellent organization, communication and negotiation skills.
Assertive self-starter with a positive attitude and good work ethic.
Team player, high energy level, ability to work independently.
Some college or degree preferred
