Innovative Systems Group currently has a 4+ month contract to opening for a Webspere MQ Administrator for a position located in downtown Chicago, IL.

The project is part of a data center relocation project of our client. The Websphere MQ Administrator has operating systems, network, or database experience in a complex infrastructure environment. Candidates must be willing to work on weekends and on holidays.

Job Requirements 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Websphere MQ administrator with 3-year working experience in MQ 5.3 and MQ6 for Solaris and for Windows.
 MQ point-to-point and pubsub messaging
Solaris 8 and 10, Windows 2003
Unix shell scripting
MQ scripting
Build new queue managers from ground up
Java/J2EE technologies including MDB
IBM MQ JAVA and/or MQ JMS APIs

 Excellent MQ trouble-shooting skills
Good-Excellent English communications skills.
 Understanding of DNS, firewall, bigIP load balancer, 3DNS
 Infrastructure trouble-shooting skills
 Willing to work over weekends and on holidays

Plus:
 Websphere MQ certified
