Dow Corning currently seeks a POSITION TITLE for a position at our Midland, Michigan facility.
Job Skills/Requirements
- Manage and develop key customers and influence the solar industry's value chain for silicone and silicon based solutions in U.S., with a focus on territory east of the Mississippi River. Network and facilitate across all functions of the customers and Dow Corning internal structure.
The detailed responsibilities include:
- Manage principal and develop potential key customers in the PV and CPV market; Influence and build close relationships with key customer stakeholders at all levels.
- Consult with customers to identify unmet needs and to assess their value and propose.
- Innovative solutions for mutually beneficial business growth. Provide information related to the selection and use of our products and services.
- Support key customers by orchestrating our global network of resources and capabilities to solve a wide range of business, development and manufacturing problems.
- Excellence in direct account management and business acumen. Experience in tracking records of new business development.
- Knowledge of (and motivation to learn about) customers, materials, production and application processes used in the solar industry and modules.
- Examples are encapsulation, junction box sealing, junction box potting, frame design and assembly process, Heat Transfer Fluids for CSP etc. Chemical, electrical or mechanical engineering background is preferred. Result driven, flexible, strong negotiator and capable of selling complex value proposals, highly self motivated, work independent, self starter, well organized and structured work style.
- Excellent technical understanding and learning capabilities. Demonstrated capability to work with global and teams. Good communication skills as well in front of external audiences i.e. customers and consultants, fluent in English, ready to travel (approx. 50% - seasonal).
