Job Description 

Cardinal Logistics Management is looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our successful team in Gilbert, Arizona! 

The job duties include:
o Assist in the daily operation of a transportation/distribution facility.
o Assist in the management of fleet and drivers.
o Oversee invoicing, routing, dispatching, driver settlements and other administrative functions integral to the operation’s success.
o Maintain DOT compliance.
o Provide the highest level of service to both internal and external customers.
o Act as liaison and communicate with drivers and customer to ensure that critical delivery parameters are met.
o Administer fleet maintenance.
o Other duties as required to ensure the operations runs safely and efficiently.
 


Job Requirements 

Skills: 
The ideal candidate will demonstrate and possess the following skills.
  • Proven track record in the transportation industry. 
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Driver and fleet management skills.
  • Maintenance experience is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated PC aptitude including the use of Microsoft office applications.
  • Ability to creatively solve problems as needed.
  • Ability to work in a faced paced environment with large volume and critical delivery parameters.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with great attention to details.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations. 
      

Education:  High School Diploma required.  College degree preferred in Logistics or other related field.



Experience:  Two years of transportation industry is required.
