This position will be located near Greenville, SC. Candidates must be willing to relocate - Client will offer relocation assistance.
Director of Marketing will be responsible for the planning and execution of local media (BROADCAST AND PRINT), local marketing programs and tactics targeted to support corporate sales and guest count objectives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the planning and execution of all local marketing activities.
- Develop and maintain a turnkey marketing solution to assist operations with local efforts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with operations personnel (GM, AD, RVP, etc) to ensure excellent execution.
- Review and analyze sales performances against programs and plans to determine effectiveness.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of Media Planning and execution.
- Key liaison with Operations; responsible to resolving of marketing issues.
- Oversee the ongoing review and development of the Community Marketing program.
- Develop the local store marketing certification program criteria.
- Manager local marketing tools and budget for such (DOT signs, yellow page and other directory listings, local sponsorships, etc.)
- Increase local store sales and assist in developing events that bring groups into the local restaurant.
- Communicate effectively with management in both field and corporate locations in order to provide effective marketing administration.
- Assist the marketing department as requested.
- Manage department personnel to ensure efficient and effective departmental performance. This includes training, development and performance measurements.
- Keep abreast of developments and best practices in the marketing field. Maintains the knowledge necessary to develop department goals and programs, and retain professional competence.

- 10+ Years of Marketing Experience
- Must have experience in the restaurant and/or CPG industry
- Must have progressive leadership experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business
- Knowledge of Local Marketing Program and Strategy Development
- Strong communication skills
- Strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and tasks
- Demonstrated in-depth sales and marketing techniques and financial principles
