Senior Payroll Analyst

Our client in the Los Angeles area is looking for a Sr. Payroll Analyst. This position will serve as the key liaison between company staff and the payroll department. This company is a leader in their industry and offers a competitive package to their employees. We are looking for a talented, energetic, leader who works well independently and within a team environment. We are looking for someone who can provide exemplary service to our internal clients. A positive, “can-do" demeanor and team player attitude is a strongly desired.
Job Responsibilities
-
Process bi-weekly payroll for 800-1200 employees using Ceridian
-
Review, and perform analysis on payroll reports; create and distribute reports to Senior Management

Perform reconciliation of payroll accounts

Process deductions, calculate and maintain vacation/sick balances & accruals

Process manual checks, special payments, adjustments, reversals, stop pays, direct deposits, tax compliance, wage assignments/attachments

Ensure accuracy and compliance of company policies
Requirements
-
Ceridian experience required
-
Must have experience processing payroll for bi-weekly/salaried employees

Minimum two years of experience processing payroll and performing payroll analysis

Must have strong analytical skills and be able to utilize Excel, Access, SQL, and Crystal Reports of reporting

Beginning to intermediate excel skills is strongly desired

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff: Staff employees to executive management

Assertive and energetic personality with the ability to work in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment

Excellent verbal as well as written communication skills

Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience required
