The nurse educator is responsible for coordinating conducting educational programs throughout the hospital.  Including, but not limited to diabetes, documentation, employee orientation, and continuing education programs.  The educator will also be required to have knowledge of current nursing, medical, and health trends and practices in rendering of patient care; and the ability to act in a professional capacity and serve as a professional role model.
