Description
Luxe Hotels is currently seeking to fill a CORPORATE SALES MANAGER POSITION.  Luxe Hotel Sunset blvd. is a boutique hotel with a  160 guestrooms and suites.

This sales professional will be responsible for coordinating all related group booking activities for the hotel including direct sales efforts, follow-up and proper administration processes. prospecting and developing new business accounts in his/ her market segments with emphasis on group business, 10,000 square feet of meeting space. Also will be responsible for growing existing accounts and generating new business to ensure that departmental revenues meet or exceed budget in order to maximize profits and improve company position globally.

 

Requirements * Must have MINIMUM of 5 years experience as a sales manager in a full service upscale boutique property
* Strong customer service orientation and skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication, computer literacy, organizational and time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines and maximize sales goals and revenue are required
*Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress
*Follow's company policies and procedures and is able to effectively communicate them to subordinates.
*Track record developing long term business relationships
*Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing genuine hospitality and by exceeding guest expectations.
*Must be able to think clearly, analyze and resolve problems, while exercising good judgement

Only local LOS ANGELES AREA applicants will be considered.

Candidates submitting resumes with no prior hotel experience will not be considered.

*Conduct sales solicitations within assigned markets to most efficiently generate revenues for member hotels.

*Continuously represent member hotels to customers within assigned markets.

*Develop networking opportunities through active participation in professional associations and events.

*Initiate, qualify, follow up and close sales leads.

*Planning and executing sales calls, including preparation, setting appointments and conducting presentations.

*Contribute to preparation of the annual marketing plan and related departmental budget.

*Use computerized system (Salesforce) for reporting activities and tracking communication.

*Must be able to work well in very stressful, high-pressure situations.
*Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
*Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
