Description
The CFO will direct the overall financial plans and accounting practices of Globus Medical. This includes overseeing treasury, accounting, budget, tax and audit activities of the organization and subsidiaries, including all SEC and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance issues. This individual will oversee financial and accounting system controls and standards and ensure timely financial and statistical reports for management and/or Board use. In addition, this high profile individual will be part of the executive management team at Globus Medical working with the CEO to help the company achieve its overall business goals worldwide. Finally, the CFO will execute the responsibilities of a company director according to all applicable lawful and ethical standards.
Responsibilities
- Finance & Administration: Create and direct yearly financial management plans for the entire company. Responsible for creating yearly sales and expense budgets in a timely manner. Responsible for liaison with all financial institutions in matters of banking, borrowing, and financing activities. Responsible for overseeing all equity financing activities including managing all shareholder activities.
- Executive Management: As member of executive management team, this individual will work with other Executive Management in strategic planning, company goal setting and M&A activities.
Requirements
1. Ten to Fifteen years of experience in finance and administration with growing responsibilities preferably in the medical device field. At least 5 years experience as CFO of a public company, preferably as CFO during IPO process.
2. Proven leader of people with strong self-starting skills.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Multi-tasking abilities required for successful job completion.
4. Well organized, detail oriented and a team player capable of working in a deadline dictated environment.
5. Proficient in preparation of reports and budgets.
6. Master’s Degree in Business Administration and CPA or equivalent required
7. Ability and willingness to travel extensively. This position will require approximately 15% of travel.
8. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
