Bosco's Pizza Company has been selling "pizzeria quality" frozen pizza and breadsticks to the food service industry since 1988. Bosco’s products are sold through major food service distributors primarily in the Midwest. Our customers include schools, hospitals, employee cafeterias, concessions, and a variety of independent food service establishments.
We are a dynamic growing company experiencing 15% sales growth year after year and recently moved into our new 50,000 sq. ft. facility located in Warren, MI. The new site supports our continued growth as we have the ability to build on up to 100,000 sq. ft. We are currently semi-automated and are continually seeking to move to full automation.

We are currently looking for a full time 2nd shift Quality Assurance Inspector.
The QA Inspector is responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant quality systems, documenting and calculating results accurately, taking corrective action when necessary, and reporting results to management. This person must be able to properly interpret product and process specifications, and work with the operations department to resolve quality, safety, and environmental concerns. The QA Inspector will also assist in special projects and perform other duties assigned by the QA Manager. Additional responsibilities include educating Bosco’s Pizza Company team members in aspects of quality, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent at a minimum. Some College a plus.
- Must be able to work from approximately 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and be flexible around these hours.
- Must be willing to work overtime on short notice.
- 1-3 years of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience is desirable
- Significant experience in a food production environment is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Good math and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience with statistical process control a plus
- Good problem identification and problem solving skills
- Good observational skills, reliable and honest
- Detail oriented person, with ability to work as part of a team.
