Description Progressive nonprofit seeks Chief Financial Officer to: Provide leadership, supervision and organization to agency accounting department and all accounting functions including general ledger, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed assets. Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements by cost center. Prepare cash flow projections. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Prepare operating and capital budgets, forecasts and cost comparisons. Maximize revenues while controlling expenditures within budget. Supervise purchasing function for agency. Oversee preparation of all required reports for government agencies, funding sources and audits. Prepare rate appeals and all necessary follow-up. Ensure proper segregation of and accounting for public and private funds.

Requirements Oversee all accounting functions including but not limited to budgeting, design & implementation reporting systems, financial analysis/ projections, rate setting, rate appeals, fund accounting, government reporting, grant budgeting/ reporting, medical assistance, regulatory compliance, investments, preparing reports for management, Finance Committee and Board of Directors. Oversee all IT functions. BS/BA (Accounting) plus minimum 10 years accounting experience and 5 years supervisory experience. CPA or MBA preferred. Excellent benefit package. Salary negotiable.
