Position: Data Integrity Senior Staff
The Data Integrity group is responsible to verify and maintain all data related to securities processing in the firms recordkeeping system. This includes security information, prices, ratings and other data required to accurately reflect the positions and generate transactions within the portfolios. In addition, this group is responsible for designing checks and scrubs to ensure the ongoing integrity of data.
Position Responsibilities:
Process Loan Facility notices within Wall Street Office and ensure that any rate resets, prepayments, conversions and contract splits are accurately reflected in the downstream system (Geneva).
Develop data integrity checks for: missing rollovers, paydowns, ratings, industry codes and various other security characteristics
Assist manager in managing daily operations process
Maintain excellent service levels to all internal _____ Data Customers
Set-up, review and maintain the securities within the accounting system
Monitor all data feeds related to new and changing data as related to securities
Liaise between portfolio managers, traders and custodians for all security-specific activity and issues, ensuring cross-communication of critical information between firm departments
Discover, research and resolve discrepancies related to security data whether transactional (i.e. coupons, corporate actions, paydowns), or analytical in nature
Ensure maintenance of administrative records in account/fund files
Ensure the proper posting of corporate actions on holdings
Participate in special projects such as technology advancements

Requirements
Experience and Skills Required:
Minimum two years of investment operations or securities data management
Strong fixed-income product knowledge, particularly bank loans, CLO’s, CDO’s variable rates securities, derivatives and fixed income securities
Understand of basic accounting theories
Hedge fund or private equity experience is a plus
Computer Skills:
Knowledge of at least one of the following is required: Advent Geneva, Wall Street Office, CDO Suite and BB Trading
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel – knowledge of formulae a must (e.g. “vlookup")
Basic knowledge of Bloomberg
