Description
Support the scoping, development, growth and management of branded, non-branded and disease state websites, aligned with US Commercial Operations strategy and brand strategies. Manages relationships between Business, project management, and IT team on all web projects. Acts as US Deputy on Global eGovernance Committee.
Responsible for managing online advertising plan, US eBusiness Budget and e-vendor management. Responsible for identifying and implementing new technology to maintain a competitive edge in e-marketing.
Work with product marketing teams to ensure e-related ideas, strategies and tactics align with, and support marketing objectives. Responsible for working with supervisor to develop annual plan and budget to support the needs of US Brand Plans. US Deputy on global eGovernance Committee.
Ensure quality and integrity of all US web sites. Develop creative briefs for product teams and external vendors to provide clear direction on messaging, targeting, program objectives and metrics.
Establish, evaluate and adjust email and search engine-marketing campaigns to measure impact and return on investment.
Work with and provide direction to project management, IT and external technical resources to ensure successful development, implementation and maintenance of eMarketing initiatives.
Responsible for management and audit of external e-vendors and e-marketing agencies.
Ensure that Webtrends reporting is evaluated for all sites. Summarize findings and make recommendations for content updates, cross linking and development enhancements and promotions.
Work with convention planning, sales, and marketing divisions to introduce, lead or initiate electronic lead generation capabilities at major conventions.
Ensure that eMarketing and other electronic data gathering initiatives are appropriately integrated into the CRM system and stored through a process that enables easy back and storage.
Manage the eMarketing budget within forecast and in alignment with US Commercial Operations priorities.
Create and manage key planning processes related to eMarketing including how to create and maintain websites, manage web assets, etc.
Requirements
BA / BS degree in Business, Marketing, communications or other related areas
2-5 years of related marketing, communications, project management and/or digital experience. Must be skilled in digital marketing including web, eCampaigns, SEO marketing, web analytics and online/offline channel integration. CRM system experience a plus (Siebel preferred).
Analytical and conceptual thinking. Strong oral and written communication skills.
