Description of Federal Project Manager

• Function as a project manager for governmental, municipal, and industrial facility projects.
• Involved in business development, managing contracts, clients and the project team.
• Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of large multi-discipline projects or medium-sized projects with high degree of technical complexity.
• Involved with the production and coordination of several projects concurrently.
• Establish client relations and involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
• Conduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at projects sites in conjunction with Project Architects, Engineers and other disciplines.
• Responsible to coordinate workload with project team through the entire project development to complete documents on schedule.
• Work with the Controller and Principal/Business Unit Director for project reviews.
• Responsible for execution of training for personnel as established by strategic plans.

Requirements for Federal Project Manager

• BSCE, BS in Architecture, BSME, BSEE, or related
• Professional Registration
• 10+ years experience in Consulting Engineering / Architecture . A minimum of 3 in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated business development and strategic planning skills.
• Good communication, leadership, planning and mentoring skills.
