Job Description

The Allied Health Department at the Community College of Philadelphia invites applications for a full-time, Medical Assisting faculty position beginning Fall 2010.

Responsibilities include teaching a full load in clinical medical assisting and engaging in activities to support the viability of the MA Program.  May include serving as program director, participating in curriculum development, on-line course development, student mentoring and retention efforts, recruitment visits and admission events.


Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree, Masters Degree in a health related field preferred; demonstrated management experience; college teaching experience; plus minimum five years recent experience working in a primary care facility; current CMA (AAMA) required. Experience teaching in urban community college.
