SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Completion & Delivery Center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Provide direction, training and coaching to mechanics using established policies and procedures
- Develops, plans and schedules multiple teams to ensure achievement of goals over an extended period
- Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions in order to ensure on time delivery of aircraft
- Monitors daily operations of all teams and actively assists, or provides direction to team leads as required
- Monitors parts and assemblies progress throughout the process to ensure on time delivery and safety
- Monitors material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved material is timed to meet schedule requirements
- Lead team in continuous improvements of processes and solving scheduling problems
- Ensures all tools & equipment necessary for the completion of each aircraft are available and in working order
- Helps create a SAFE working environment by enforcing applicable company policies, standard practices, and procedures
- Maintain aircraft/station cleanliness and 5S plan
- Key contributor and mentor in (OJT) training for team members
- Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, safety, and evaluation of teams in the CDC. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university preferred; and 3-5 years work-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior experience leading a team of people and experience in an aerospace manufacturing, assembly or repair station environment required
- Technical knowledge of the single and twin helicopter preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of FAR’s and company quality processes and procedures required
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, good planning skills, and excellent organization skills required
- Requires leadership experience and demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
- Regular Attendance is required

The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses or goggles and mandatory hearing protection. Primary environment is a production environment.
