Job Description 

Job Description:  Manage and improve existing collections processes for Consumer Collections.  Assist in automating Consumer Receivables process and reporting using GP Dynamics and Data Warehouse  Suggest and implement strategies for improving right party contact rates for consumer collections, including potential use of automated messaging platforms  Manage customer escalations and disputes with appropriate part of the Simplexity organization  Oversee outsourced collections agencies, including first party and third party collections agencies. This includes placement of accounts, resolution of disputes, collaboration with IT to ensure data integrity and reporting on performance.  Prepare monthly and ad hoc reporting as required.  Maintain acceptable bad debt levels on all portfolios, including other receivables (non-consumer)  Provide feedback and recommendations to Director of Cyber Risk  Update management on FDCPA rules and regulations compliance issues and future changes  Other duties as assigned.
 


Job Requirements 

Required Skills: • Familiarity with consumer collections processes, preferably 5 to 7 years in consumer collections • Business process re-engineering experience • BA or BS Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business or equivalent work experience • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work with multiple levels of management. • Strong computer and reporting skills in Microsoft Excel and Access. • Presentation skills • Knowledge of FDCPA rules and regulations • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Basic Accounting skills needed Desired Skills: • Credit card processing experience a plus • Automated messaging platform (Varolii or SoundBite) experience a plus • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP system a plus • Wireless or Telecom industry experience a plus
