Description

A local, growing financial institution is seeking an experienced teller to perform accurate transaction processing and provide superior customer service. Must have recent experience with the following standard banking procedures:

Cash checks, accept deposits and payments, processes withdrawals.
Sell saving bonds, travelers' checks, and process paperwork for certificates of deposit.
Keep records of money and negotiable instruments involved in financial transactions.
Enter customers' transactions into computer to record transactions,
Process cash transactions involving negotiable instruments.
Receive checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount, and examines checks for endorsements.
Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift
Open and manage customer accounts.
Sales and cross-marketing of financial products and provide general consumer support.

The position may require work in Mount Pleasant as well.

Requirements Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of 1-2 years recent experience as a bank teller/CSR in a financial institution with working knowledge of MS-Word and Excel. Notary public is preferred but not required.
